Balochistan govt announces 5 Eid holidays
QUETTA: After announcing a day off on July 28, the number of official holidays by the Balochistan government has rose to five on account of Eid-ul-Fitr while the other provinces will observe a four-day holiday, Geo News reported.

According to a notification issued by the provincial government, all the government institutions will remain closed from Monday, July 28 to Friday, August 1. After the new announcement, the total number of holidays is now nine.

Earlier, the holidays were announced from Tuesday, July 29 to August 1 by the Balochistan government.

During the Eid holidays, the Chief Secretary Balochistan has instructed all the divisional commissioners, regional police officers, deputy commissioners, district police officers and assistant commissioners to remain present on their respective deployments.
