Defence Secretary Lt. Gen Asif Yasin to complete tenure Sunday

ISLAMABAD: The Defence Ministry is mulling over names for the appointment of Defence Secretary as the current secretary Lt.Gen Asif Yasin Malik completes his tenure Sunday.

Sources said that names of Corps Commander Gujranwala Lt. Gen Muzammil Hussain, Lt Gen (retd) Khalid Nawaz and Lt. Gen. (retd) Haroon Aslam are under consideration.

The sources said that the Prime Minister House is also mulling over names of Nargis Sethi and Fawad Hussain for the post.

Outgoing Decfence Secretary Lt. Gen (retd) Asif Yasin was appointed in 2012.
