Shawwal moon sighted, Eid on Tuesday

KARACHI: The crescent of Shawaal (Hijri 1435) has been sighted, therefore, Eidul Fitr will be celebrated all across Pakistan on Tuesday (July 29), announced chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.

Earlier, the Committee held its meeting here at Meteorological Office on Monday to sight moon for the next Islamic month.

According to sources, witnesses from Sukkur and Jacobabad confirmed sighting of the Shawwal moon.
