Operation will continue till elimination of all terrorists: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif said Operation Zarb-e-Azb would continue in North Waziristan till the elimination of every terrorist.

In a statement ISPR said the army chief spent chant raat and offered his Eid prayers along with soldiers in North Waziristan.

General Sharif also visited the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bannu. The army chief told those displaced during the operation that the army would not rest until they were resettled. He also expressed solidarity with the IDPs and praised the sacrifices they had rendered.
