Diamir: 4 passengers die as van plunges into ravine

GILGIT: At least four passengers died and several injured as a van fell into ravine in Diamir district of Gilgit- Baltistan province on Friday, Geo News reported.

Police said that the passenger van was on way from Rawalpindi to Gilgit, when at Babu Sartop in Diamir it fell into a ravine as the driver could not keep control over it due to high speed. The bodies and the injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital.

Over 15 passengers were on board the van on way to Gilgit-Baltistan for sightseeing.
