Cancellation of Pak-India secretary-level talks disappoints US
WASHINGTON: Voicing disappointment over the cancellation of Pakistan-India dialogue in the wake of New Delhi’s unilateral decision, the United States on Tuesday said it is engaging with both South Asian countries as it wants them to improve relations in all aspects.

“We are disappointed that talks have fallen through. We are engaging with the governments of both India and Pakistan through our embassies,” Deputy Spokesperson at the State Department Marie Harf said.

The United States, she said, strongly supports efforts by the two countries to “improve bilateral relations, all aspects of it”.
