After the talks, the government’s negotiation team comprising Haider Abbas Rizvi and Aijazul Haq spoke to the media persons.

Haider Abbas Rizvi said there is an agreement between the two sides on about seven out of ten demands of PAT.

Aijaz-ul-Haq termed the willingness of both the sides to engage in talks as a good omen.

To a question as to how long the process of talks will take to complete, he said he can’t say anything but added that he would like it to complete as soon as possible.

Earlier, PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi told the media representatives that his party had put their demands before the negotiation team.

He said the demands include resignation of central and Punjab governments at once and registration of FIR of Model Town tragedy.

“We want true democracy in the country,” he said.
