US interfering in Pakistan’s internal matters: Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said the US is interfering in Pakistan’s internal matters.

Addressing PTI workers at the sit-in outside Parliament, Khan demanded that the US State Department take back its statement regarding Pakistan’s internal affairs. “Nawaz Sharif is hiding behind the US and army trying to save his false government.”

The US State Department in a statement said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was the constitutionally elected head of the government of Pakistan and Washington does not support any extra constitutional changes to the democratic system.

Khan once reiterated that he would not leave Islamabad without Nawaz Sharif resigning. "I will not leave here alive," Khan said.

"If PML-N uses its Gullu Butts against our protestors I will take my army towards PM House."

The PTI chairman said his party would support Tahirul Qadri if the government took action against the Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
