Qadri’s 48-hour ultimatum to government ends
ISLAMABAD: The ultimatum of 48 hours to the government, given by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri, ended at 6:00PM today (Wednesday), Geo News reported.

Tahirul Qadri on Monday had asked the rulers to quit and the assemblies be dissolved before the end of the deadline.

He had also asked the government to make public the report of the judicial commission as constituted by it to probe the murder of 14 people in the Model Town tragedy.

Meanwhile, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar and his Sindh counterpart Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan had left for Islamabad to hold meeting with Qadri.

Before leaving, Dr Ebad and Chaudhry Sarwar also contacted PAT leaders.
