Ballot papers printed under Army supervision, PCP tells ECP
ISLAMABAD: The Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP) on Wednesday informed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) that all ballot papers were printed under the supervision of the Pakistan Army.

The Officials of the PCP informed the Acting Chief Election Commissioner, Anwar Zaheer Jamali during a special meeting at a private hotel on Wednesday. The meeting was focusing on the allegations made by Imran Khan and Afzal Khan about rigging during the 2013 General Elections.

During the session, videos of the former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry’s address to the returning officers as well as Afzal Khan’s interview were reviewed.

During the session PCP officials informed the ECP that numbering of the ballot papers was done by 22 people who had been brought in from Lahore to Islamabad under police protection.
