Army chief to meet Nawaz today

ISLAMABAD: Following his meetings with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri on late Thursday night, chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif will meet Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf on Friday (today), sources said.

The sources said that the army chief, who has assumed role of mediator to help end the political crisis roiling the country for the last 15 days ,will discuss his meetings with Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.

They further said following the meeting government's representatives will meet Khan and Qadri after which a written agreement will be signed.
