Imran never wanted democracy to derail: Sh Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Awami Muslim League (AML), Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PAT) chairman Imran Khan never spoke in favour of democracy’s derailment.

Talking to media persons here, Rasheed said neither the Parliament nor democracy faced any threat.

Refuting the claims of Javed Hashmi, he said he did not convey any message to Imran Khan. “Notwithstanding, it was really my wish that Tehreek-e-Insaf and Awami Tehreek march together,” he added.
