Four cops injured in Karachi check post attack
KARACHI: Four policemen were injured when unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade on a police check post in Karachi on Wednesday morning, Geo News reported.

According to police, two motorcycle riders hurdled a hand grenade at a picket of Police Madadgar 15 beneath a bridge at Shahrah-e-Quaideen near Nursery, Shahra-e-Faisal here today.

The injured policemen including Nasir Maqsood Aslam and Mahiwal were shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), said police sources. One of the walls of the police picket was badly damaged while its windows door and other walls were also damaged partly.





Some five to six motorcycles which were parked nearby were also badly damaged by the blast. No casualty is reported and the condition of all injured is stable.

Later, the police and rangers personnel cordoned off the area and investigating agencies started collecting evidences from the scene of blast.
