Protesters don’t recognize Parliament: Shah

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah Sunday lamented that those staging sit-ins did not recognize the country’s Parliament.

Talking to media persons, he said it is the responsibility to engage in negotiations with these demonstrators.

Khursheed Shah regretted that on no occasion in the history of Pakistan had protesters stormed the Parliament or Secretariat.

He said although dialogue has been in progress, the process has so far failed to produce any fruitful outcome.
