Imran 'intimidates’ police to get PTI workers released
ISLAMABAD: Heavy contingent of police surrounded residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan in the wee hours of Monday to re-arrest the PTI workers whom Khan allegedly got released from custody by intimidation.

Geo News correspondents say at least 1500 policemen were present outside Khan’s Bani Gala residence, repeatedly asking Khan through mega phone to handover the PTI workers.

However, the police contingent were called back for unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, Geo News also showed footage of a row between Khan and police in which the former cricket-star-turned politician could be seen yelling at the law enforcers: “Are you cops or thieves, why did you pick up peaceful people, you have violated law”.

Some of the policemen were also heard giving subdued response to Khan’s outburst saying “We are duty-bound, sir”.
