Pillion riding ban lifted in Karachi

KARACHI: Five-day ban on pillion riding in Karachi has been lifted at midnight of September 16, Geo News reported.

When contacted by Geo News, Home Secretary Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi confirmed lifting of ban.

Initially, Sindh Home Department had imposed a complete ban on pillion riding on motorbike scooter in Karachi division for a period of 10 days. Later, this duration of the ban was reduced from 10 days to 5 days.
