‘Jugulars’ in Islamabad exploiting poor: State Minister
LAHORE: State Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali Saturday said the ‘jugulars’ were exploiting the poor on the streets of Islamabad and accused them of squandering Rs20 million every day on celebrations.

Addressing the flood affected people at Chanab Chowk, Abid Sher Ali said the oppressors were not willing to render any sacrifice for the poor. “They can dance but aren’t ready to serve the poor,” he added.

He claimed that the Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi instead of helping the flood affectees of Multan has been busy in distributing tickets for by-election on a National Assembly seat vacated by Javed Hashmi.

The State Minister said the ‘Ilzam Khan’ should tell the nation if the tax for a person who lives in Bani Gala should only be Rs150,000.
