PM, COAS discuss Zarb-e-Azb, rehabilitation of IDPs

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif discussed the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency and the rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) during a meeting held here at PM House on Monday.

The meeting expressed satisfaction on the progress achieved so far in the ongoing military offensive against local and foreign terrorist in the tribal region.

Operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched on June 15 against the terrorists in NWA in the wake of failure of peace talks between the government and militants of proscribed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
