ECP report endorses PTI reservations: Shah Mehmood

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan has verified “our reservations”.

Speaking at a press conference of Tuesday, he said that substandard magnetic ink was used in the election. He said that the ECP had verified that the scrutiny cell was inactive.

The PTI leader said that there was trumpeting about imposition of article 62-63 and scrutiny.

He said that the ECP had endorsed reservations of the PTI and it had failed in conducting free and fair election. Qurshi said that the first question the PTI wants to ask was as to why the ECP report was hidden for 9 months.
