Fight erupts in standing committee for communication’s session
ISLAMABAD: There was an uproar and commotion in the session of National Assembly’s standing committee for communication when members of Pakistan Tehreek–e-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) raised slogans against each other.

PTI member Saleem ur Rehman along with other members entered the session of National Assembly’s standing committee for communication upon which the PML-N members argued they could attend the session as they had resigned.

Saleem ur Rehman replied that the resignations were yet to be accepted and so they were eligible to attend the session, after which he started to raise the slogan “Go Nawaz Go.”

PML-N members in reply raised the slogan “welcome Imran welcome”, but soon the situation started to get out of hand and at one point blows were even exchanged between the members of the two parties.

Later the chairman of the standing committee Sufian Yousuf intervened and restored some sanity.
