Rangers kill three Lyari ‘gangsters’

KARACHI: Three alleged gangsters were killed in an exchange of fire with paramilitary Rangers in Lyari, Geo News reported Thursday.

Sources said that the shootout took place when the Rangers conducted a raid in Taghluq Lane area of Lyari on a tip off regarding presence of the suspects.

The sources said that the suspects were involved in various crimes including armed attacks on police.

The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for identification and medico-legal formalities.
