Zahra Shahid murder: Another suspect arrested

KARACHI: Police on Thursday arrested another suspect in connection with the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid.

The suspect was arrested from the jurisdiction of the Boat Basin police station.

On September 25, three suspects were arrested in connection with the murder from Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase-1. Police said the suspects were affiliated with a political party and the weapon used in the murder had also been found.

One of the founding members of PTI, Zahra Shahid was gunned down outside her residence in DHA on 18 May 2013. The murder took place the night before re-election on NA-250.
