No evidence shows India released water into Pak rivers

ISLAMABAD: Water and Power Minister Khawaka Asif has said no evidence espouses that India deliberately released water into Pakistani rivers that caused floods.

He told Senate, the upper house of the parliament, on Monday that The Met office didn’t issue early warning a month before the rains.

He also assured the house that no extra burden will be put on consumers in terms of increase in power tariff.
