ANP walks out of senate, over killings
ISLAMABAD: The Awami National Party (ANP) staged a walk-out from the Senate on Tuesday in protest against attacks and killing of party workers.

Speaking to journalists, ANP senators demanded that those behind the attacks be identified.

Earlier, on Monday night the party staged a sit-in outside the Sindh Chief Minister House following an attack on its workers.

According to details, one party worker was killed by unknown gunmen as he hoisted the party flag in Frontier Colony area of SITE Town.

At the sit-in on Monday night, ANP leader Bashir Jan had termed the attack a failure of the provincial government. The sit-in ended shortly after the Sindh government assured ANP that the attackers would be arrested
