Suspect in Imran Farooq murder case released
LONDON: Scotland Yard on Tuesday released Iftekhar Hussain, a suspect in Dr Imran Farooq murder case, saying the police could not find any evidence against the suspect.

According to a statement issued here, Scotland Yard has said that no action will be taken against Iftekhar Hussain as no evidence was found against him in the assassination case of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Faooq.

However, two suspects Mohsin Ali Syed and Kashif Khan Kamran were wanted in Dr Imran Farooq murder case and Scotland Yard was in contact with Pakistani authorities for collection of evidence.

Dr Farooq, a prominent member of the MQM was murdered in 2010 outside his house in London as a result of multiple stabs and a blow to his head.
