Polio team attacked in Bajur

BAJUR AGENCY: A polio eradication team has been targeted with a bomb attack in Bajur Agency.

Two Levies officials designated for the security of the team and the driver have been injured in the attack.

According to Levies sources a team carrying out a campaign to eradicate polio was attacked in Dabur in district Mohmand of the Bajur Agencies.

None of the team members were hurt in the attack. The injured Levies officials and the driver have been shifted to the hospital and a search operation has been launched in the area.
