PM Nawaz chairs meeting of Parliamentary leaders
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of parliamentary party leaders to consult on prevailing political situation in the country at the PM’s Parliament House Chamber here Wednesday.

The Prime Minister emphasized that all political issues should be discussed and resolved on the Parliament’s forum.

All political parties should play their due role in transforming Pakistan into a prosperous and developed country. “We are trying to ensure good governance in the country through a consultative process which also includes the Opposition parties,” he said.

Nawaz also expressed his commitment that the government is taking all out measures to streamline the economy of Pakistan and provide better facilities of life to the poor.

He stressed that topmost priority of the government is to provide relief to the poor and to further improve country’s economy.

“Pakistan wants to cultivate cordial relations with all the countries in the region. Our armed forces are fighting courageously in North Waziristan against the terrorists and giving sacrifices to ensure a peaceful and secure Pakistan,” he said.
