Informed Imran of decision to end sit-in one month ago: Qadri
ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief, Dr Tahirul Qadri arrived at the site of the rally here on Thursday.

Prior to his address, Dr Qadri revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had been informed of the PAT's decision to end the Islamabad sit-in one month ago.

The PAT is holding a rally at the College Ground in Abbottabad where a holiday has been declared by the district administration.

Haider Zaman who heads the Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara addressed the rally and said the present system had failed to deliver. He added that people were upset and the system has to be changed.

On October 21, Tahirul Qadri announced an end to the over two month long sit-in which was being held in Islamabad. Dr Qadri said the next sit-in would be held in Karachi on December 25, adding that PAT would hold protests in major cities of the country.
