Motorcycle riding banned in Peshawar during anti-polio drive
PESHAWAR: The district administration has banned motorcycle riding in Peshawar during the special anti-polio drive on October 26 (Sunday).

Motorcycle riding will be banned from 8 AM till 5 PM during the anti-polio drive.

The anti-polio drive will aim to administer polio drops to over 700,000 children for which 4,000 teams have been formed.

Section 144 has been imposed in Peshawar as a security measure for the anti-polio drive, while 4,000 policemen will be deployed to protect teams. The Frontier Constabulary will be deployed in areas of Khyber Agency.

Polio drops will also be administered to children at bus stations, train stations, hospitals and crowded areas.
