LHC to indict Mubashir Lucman, Salman Iqbal on Nov 7

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) will indict ARY anchorperson Mubashir Lucman and CEO Salman Iqbal on November 7 in the contempt of court case, Geo News reported on Friday.

Mubashir Lucman did not appear in the court while his medical certificate was presented by his lawyer.

During today’s proceedings, the court stated that CEO ARY Salman Iqbal, anchorperson Mubashir Lucman and the producers of his program will be indicted in the next hearing to be held on November 7.

Also, the court instructed the Pakistan Electronic Media Regularity Authority (PEMRA) to make arrangements for playing the controversial program in the court during the next hearing.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing till November 7.
