Patriotism is not a crime, says Altaf Hussain
ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that patriotism is not a crime and that Allama Iqbal was a true patriot, Geo News reported.

Altaf Hussain said this while addressing inaugural ceremony of English translation of his book titled “Falsafa-e-Muhabbat’ here Friday evening.

Altaf Hussain said: “all our problems will be resolved if we end our own fighting.”

MQM chief said that India and Pakistan should not threaten each other instead they drone nuclear bomb and end the story.

He said Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted to create a United India, for this he joined the Congress. Jinnah had also said that minority states should be turned into independent states, he added.
