DUBAI: Australia will have to achieve their highest ever run chase if they are to win the first Test against Pakistan after they were set 438 to win as their opponents declared their second innings at 286-2 on Saturday in Dubai.

Ahmed Shehzad hit a brilliant 131 before Younis Khan scored his second century of the match with 103 not out on the fourth day at Dubai stadium.

Younis had made 106 in Pakistan´s first innings total of 454. Australia had made 303 in their first knock.

Younis also became the highest century maker for Pakistan with his 25th ton, becoming the seventh batsmen from his country to score two centuries in a Test.
Australia´s best chase in a Test is 404-3 they achieved against England at Headingley in 1948.
