Moharram moon sighted in Pakistan

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Saturday the moon for the holy month of Moharramul Haram had been sighted.

The committee held its meeting under the chair of Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim and was attended by members of the zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees, MET Office, SUPARCO and Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The first of Moharramul Haram will be observed on October 26 (Sunday) and Asuhra on November 4 (Tuesday).
