Saad Haroon is the world’s second funniest person
NEW YORK: Pakistani comedian, Saad Haroon has been voted as the second funniest person in the world.

Saad placed second in the finals of Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World contest after securing 59,213 votes. Voting for the competition took place online and was won by Finland’s Ismo Leikola who bagged 158,954 votes.

Other finalists for the competition included Nitin Miran from UAE and Mustapha El Atrassi from France.

Saad Harron is credited with being one of the pioneers of English stand-up comedy in Pakistan and formed the country’s first improve comedy troop ‘BlackFish’. Saad Haroon also launched Pakistan’s first English comedy show 'The Real News' which was modeled after the Daily Show with John Stewart format.
