JI should stop playing on both sides of the wicket: Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has demanded that the JI should stop playing on both sides of the wicket and tell people of Pakistan where it stands: for change or with the status quo.

Khan speaking to media, expressed shock and disappointment over the statement of JI Chief Sirajul Haq. Khan said that Haq’s failure to recognise the injustice of the 2013 general elections despite a national political consensus that systematic rigging took place raises serious questions on the commitment of the JI and its chief to implementation of Islamic principles.

Khan regretted that so far Sirajul Haq had clubbed the PTI with the PML-N and PPP and conveniently forgotten the number of NAB cases against both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.

‘If Sirajul Haq and JI are really committed to enforcing Islamic laws then they need to stand by the PTI in its struggle for justice and its fight against corrupt and decadent rulers,’ Khan said.
