“But the practice of above becomes Fisaad when carried out for a personal interest and obtainment of power or wealth,” Munawar Hasan said in a statement issued here.
He said those who are surviving on the leftovers of the Western forces would have expunged even the Ayaats (verses) from the holy Qur’an if they had such power.
He said those who feel infuriated at his statement wanted to misguide the people by interpreting the religion of Islam according to their own will. “In fact their intention is to cover up their practices of dumping bodies in gunny sacks and extortion of money,” he added.
