Anti-polio drive resumes in SWA after 30 months
WANA: Like some areas of North Waziristan, the anti-polio campaign Monday resumed in South Waziristan Agency (SWA) after 30 months suspension in the wake of threats received from militants.

The campaign kicked off under the supervision of Pak Army in areas of Wana, Azam Warsak and adjoining areas.

According to FATA Secretariat sources, over 68,000 children under the age of five were administrated anti-polio drops on the first day of the drive.

Few days back, anti-polio campaign had also kicked off in North Waziristan Agency after two-and-half years.
