KARACHI: Session judge Umer Kot has submitted a report in the Sindh high court on the Tharparkar situation.

According to the report the government failed to take serious steps in dealing with drought and its effectees.

The report also reveals that positions for doctors were still vacant, relief funds did not reach the effectees and they were not provided with clean drinking water.

The report also mentions that eighteen out of the twenty nine basic health centers were non operational.

According to Umer Kot hospital management 150 people have lost their lives including 35 children under the age of five.
