Karachi: Seven recovered FATA girls handed over to parents
KARACHI: Seven out of 33 girls, recovered from a house in Liaquatabad area on Tuesday night, have been handed over to their parents, Geo News reported.

The search for the family of other 26 girls was underway.

Police and provincial administration said they are investigating the matter from different angles.

Police said legal action would be taken against Hameeda if she was found guilty.

Meanwhile, Secretary Law and Order FATA Shakeel Qadir has said the parents of eight girls were present in Karachi while the remaining girls families are in Bajaur. They had yet to contact him, he said.

Preliminary reports say the girls belonging to Bajaur Agency were shifted to a seminary to settle a monetary dispute.
