Won’t allow anybody to overrun Islamabad: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been permitted to hold rally at Jinnah Avenue but the government would not allow anybody to invade Islamabad.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, he said that the government had issued NOC for the rally after the PTI signed an agreement.

He said that the PTI would not be allowed to violate the terms and conditions it agreed to obey to hold the rally.

Khan said that the government would ensure protection of state institutions on November 30.

He said that Rangers and police will be responsible for the security of outer cordon but the Imran Khan led party would itself be overseeing the security inside the rally.

The minister warned that the security forces will act in accordance with the law if participants of the rally entered Red Zone.
