We’ll accept JC decision even if it finds no rigging: Imran
PESHAWAR: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan Wednesday said he his differences with the government were not of personal nature and that the Peshawar tragedy made it imperative for all the parties to stand together against the scourge of terrorism.

Addressing a press conference following the national political parties meeting here, Imran Khan, flanked on his right by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said despite other differences all the parties stand as one against the terrorism.

“I had also expressed agreement on the war against terrorism when Mian Sahab had come to see me in the hospital,” he said, adding no institution can win the fight alone against the menace of terrorism.

He said funeral prayers in absentia will be offered for the martyrs of Peshawar tragedy at his ongoing sit-in in Islamabad.

On the issue of alleged rigging in the general elections of 2013, Imran Khan said there was unanimity among all the parties forming the incumbent Parliament that the polls were rigged.

“We will accept the finding of the Judicial Commission even if it concludes that no rigging took place in the elections,” he said.
