Second ATC setup in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A second anti-terrorism court (ATC) was setup in the federal capital on Thursday.

Sohail Akram has taken charge of the ATC no.2, while Kausar Abbas Zaidi has been performing duties as the judge in ATC no.1.

The formation of the second ATC in Islamabad comes after the government lifted the ban on the death penalty in terrorism cases.
