KHYBER AGENCY: The Pakistan Army killed 32 militants in clashes in the Khyber Agency tribal region near the Afghan border.

A press release by the ISPR said "reportedly a group of terrorists was moving from Tirah towards the Pak-Afghan border. Security forces ambushed the moving group at Wurmagai and Spurkot and 32 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire. Three personnel of the security forces were also injured in the clashes."

ISPR added that fleeing terrorists left behind bodies of their accomplices.

The government and military have reaffirmed their determination to defeat the Taliban following the school massacre in the northwestern city of Peshawar.

Pakistani Taliban gunmen stormed the Army Public School in Peshawar Tuesday, slaughtering 148 people, including 132 children, in the country's deadliest ever terror attack.
