ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister's Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Saturday lauded the international community for expressing solidarity with Pakistan on Peshawar school tragedy.

Addressing a seminar here, Mr. Aziz said that Pakistan would continue its cooperation with the international community on war against terror, adding that the main issue between Pakistan and India was misunderstanding.

He further said Pakistan was the worst affected by the scourge of terrorism and it condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Sartaj Aziz added serious efforts should be made to resume Pakistan and India talks.

Sartaj Aziz termed as unfortunate the suspension of secretary level talks between India and Pakistan.

He said Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has assured that his country would not allow terrorists to use its soil against others.

Aziz said Pakistan and Afghanistan would launch coordinated action against the terrorists, while forces of both the countries would not infiltrate each others’ borders.
