CM Punjab acknowledges role of Christian community

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Christian community continues to play an active part in the development and stability of the country and for the promotion of education.

In a message from Lahore, he wished the Christian community well on Christmas saying all religion spread peace and harmony.

He also said that it was the responsibility of the state to provide fundamental rights, security and equal opportunity to the minorities.
