COAS hails political leadership for resolve to end terrorism

RAWALPINDI Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday chaired high level security meeting at the GHQ, said Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)Major General Asif Bajwa.

He said the meeting reviewed all activities to be undertaken by the army, intelligence agencies as part of National Action Plan.

He added that the army chief directed all concerned in the army, intelligence agencies to initiate action on urgent basis for speedy and effective implementation.

Reiterating his unequivocal resolve to root out extremism, terrorism, the COAS paid rich tribute to national political leadership for their spirit and unwavering resolve to rid Pakistan of menace of terrorism through reforms and administrative measures.
