Govt, PTI teams meet to discuss judicial commission ordinance
ISLAMABAD: Teams from the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are meeting to finalise the draft for the judicial commission ordinance which will probe rigging allegations during the 2013 general elections.

The meeting being held at the residence of PTI General Secretary is taking place after the Imran Khan led party rejected a draft for the judicial commission ordinance.

Mr Tareen said the draft was handed to him by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar during the All Parties Conference on December 24. According to Tareen the draft was rejected as it was not in line with what had been agreed upon.

It is expected that a major breakthrough will be made on Friday as both sides have expressed their willingness to finalise the draft.
