Wrong information penalized with 26 year sentence
MULTAN: A counter terrorism special court sentenced an accused to 26 years in jail and fined him Rs 0.1 million in Multan for giving wrong information about bombs twice.

According to the Lahori Gate Police Station prosecution in a special court for counter terrorism, on July 28 2014 the police was informed on 15 that there was a bomb near a shop in Hussain Agahi Chowk. Then again on July 29 2015, the police was informed on 15 that there was a bomb in Shah Shams Park.

Bomb disposal squad, rescue and other institutions reached the spots and evacuated the areas immediately spreading panic in the whole area.

The informant Rana Yousuf was arrested through mobile tracking.
