Timber Market blaze yet to be extinguished completely
KARACHI: The cooling process continues at the timber market in Karachi two days after several warehouses and residential buildings were set ablaze.

Ten fire brigades and sixty fighters are trying to bring the situation under complete control and will be carrying out the cooling procedures the whole day today (Monday).

Sources have revealed that 36 plots and 86 houses were burnt down in the fire while many donkeys, cattle and cars were also affected.

According to fire brigade sources, the blaze could not be extinguished fully yesterday (Sunday) as there is still some fire in the debris on the roofs.
