Three-day ban on pillion riding in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh government has imposed ban on pillion riding for three days seeking security during anti-polio campaign in Karachi, Geo News reported.

According to Sindh Home Department communiqué, the ban will be effective from midnight Tuesday (today). Home Secretary Raheem Soomro said the ban has been imposed for three days from 12:00 AM today to midnight of January 29.

The ban has been imposed due to anti-polio campaign being launched in 11 sensitive Union Councils of Karachi today.

Anti-polio drive is being started in Gaddap, SITE and Baldia Towns in the supervision of Rangers and police.
